AI prompts currently need your own API key. Live captions and screen text recognition work without one. Automatic updates and web library sync are coming.

Make yourself at home.

1. Download and unzip ideapop.
2. Quit any older version, then move ideapop.app into Applications.
3. Open the app. If macOS blocks it, review the notice in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
4. Allow microphone, speech recognition, and screen & system audio recording when prompted.
5. Try the offline demo, then test captions in a practice conversation.

What’s new in 0.1.23

• Close or minimize the interview window; restore it from the Dock.
• Settings now matches the other toolbar buttons.
• Automatic punctuation enabled for live captions.
• Drag the header to move the floating window.

Uses the same fixed signing certificate as the previous beta. Permission retention across upgrades still needs verification on your Mac.
